Dry cleaning is recommended for best results. If hand washing is preferred, it should be washed gently, without squeezing, with a shampoo suitable for silk and cold water. It should be laid out to dry, and when ironed, it should be ironed inside out or gently with a cotton cover. It should be kept away from chemicals such as perfume, cosmetics, hair spray and should not be exposed to rainwater.
